yeah, but i always get them back cause i follow directions well. if you eff up they wont send the check back.

 

They can't make you upgrade, they can only say you can't use certian things if you don't.

It's your system, not theirs, they cannot tell you what you can and cannot have on it. They CAN manage the network how they see fit, not allowing you to connect or blocking some things.

If they merely suggest you upgrade, it's cause they are in bed with microsoft. PRO is not needed.

 

im gonna find out next thursday why they are asking me to upgrade. if the school has campus wide wireless i still should be able to run it on XP right? i dont see why not. only thing is that if i do upgrade i get norton system works and antivirus free for as long as im there and free live update.
