If the only thing that you're adding to the car is the front lip, then go with the 2nd choice. But if you do add side skirts and/or rear, then go for the 1st choice.

The 1st choice is a little too low and will look off if it's the only thing you have on the car. At least complement it with some kind of subtle side valences.

 

2nd choice. But it could be blended up at the end there so you don't have that odd looking line between the lip and the body there on the end.
