I'm so glad I don't have to pay for my gas. Company gas cards ROCK!

My job is 55 miles away and I fill up 2-3 times a week. But I don't bitch because I'm sure there are tons of people that have it worse, gas is like $6 a gallon in Europe, and as a proportion of my salary the gas price is very small...I only have to work for about a half an hour a day to pay for the trip there and back. Big deal. At one point I was considering buying a Civic HX, but the savings would barely for the cost of insuring it, let alone buying it :dunno:

Yeah, a 20.6 gallon tank, premium @$2.90/gal, and no fifth gear sucks.

Fourtunately, I only have to fill that tank once a week. It's good for about 425 miles.

I remember driving through Detroit to pick up some stuff, a long time ago. We filled up at 19 cents a gallon, two hours later it was 16 cents a gallon. (1970)

We need to quit crying about the prices here we still pay a lot less than a people in a lot of other countries. I get between 26 and 31 mpg on the 325i and about the same in the RSX-s. Yes I paid 31.02 to fill the RSX-s up yesterday @ 2.889 for premium. I'm glad I'm not driving around in my 1999 Dodge Dakota 4wd anymore getting 15 mpg, when the truck wasn't loaded down, 12 when it was carrying more than 3/4 of ton, yes it was rated for 1800# in the bed.
