Civic 7th or 6th Gen which should I buy
Well the BMW will be gone soon, I need to purchase another car so whats better 6th or 7th gen civic.
What I'm looking for
Power windows
Power door locks
Automatic trans yikes
h: I hate shifting never owned a auto car before
2 doors
Prefer an HX
Working capital 6-$7500
Will not even consider the Si model
Car will never see any mods, So I'm only looking at stock ones

Do these cars have any weakness that is known about them?
The later model from what I understand has a excellent crash rating.
Are the auto transmissions good or do they blow up like a DSM at 60k.
Nearly bought a 4 door 01 EX sedan last night for $7000, don't care for four doors so no dealh:

7th gen. if its gonna be bone stock and left that way, newer models have more longevity (usually).
