stripped the 4th gear in my car a few weeks ago and it's going to cost about 2500 parts and labor to upgrade to the STI gearset w/ new bearings and synchros etc etc.

i have a 4th gear that i got for free, i'd just have to pay $250 labor to get it installed
but i don't see the point if its going to break again in a few months
