in reality, I'm not making thousands of dollars doing this, I'm just making extra while i'm out shopping anyways.

1. I have a UPS facility attached to my building that offers discounted rates
2. each sideways costs me $11 after tax
3. paypal fees of $1.70
4. actual shipping costs of about $3.

I'm only profiting $6 per cybertron figure sold.

True, but if you sell 4 of them you've got yourself a free Alternator.

true.

I figure, "hey, I'm shopping anyways" so if I see something, I see it. I'll NEVER go out of my way just to find figures to sell.

I do. But then again, I sit on the stuff for 2-3 years before I make my money. To me, anything less than $50 profit isn't worth it and I'd rather wait.

Cybertron Optimus is a particularly good figure. You should start collecting these toys while they're easy to find. Next thing you know you'll want them in a couple of years, and you'll be paying through the teeth for them on E-bay.
my fav cybertron's so far:

Evac
Sideways
Hot Shot
Scourge
Leobreaker
