I've been wanting to buy a new external hard drive, but I won't spend the money. But I do spend near $200 on a POS AFA-suck Predaking

I was thinking that we should open up our own toy store, but then we wouldn't sell anything because we'd want to keep all of it. :crazyr:
Yea thats what's getting me...i need new cloathes and new pc stuff and need to build my car PC. But i dont really wanna spend the money...but at the drop of a dime i can drop close to $300 in one day on transformers...and if things start going the way i think they might be...i think there's a chance those days are gonna resurface.

I was still back in the Philippines. My best friend at the time got Metroplex. Since then, we've been trying to collect TF's. Though the only ones I could find we're all the newer plastic TF's. The originals (like Wheeljack, Jazz, Prowl, in diecast metal, etc) we're nearly impossible to find as it seemed like they were already out of production.

One time, I didn't listen to Andrew about a transformer I was 50/50 about buying. He told me that I should buy it then and there, because it would get more expensive by the time I finally got off my duff and bought it.

I didn't listen. I had to pay $25 more for it later than if I had purchased it when he told me to.

G1's and Alternators seem to appreciate over time. I think of it as putting it away in a TF-plasti-crack savings account. If I ever really need the cash, I can unload them on Ebay for more than I originally paid.

Heck...I had a Japanese reissue Megatron #16 in the old school packaging. I bought it for $75. It had a bend in the top card which drove me nuts. I sold it two weeks later for $112.50. I couldn't believe that I had made $37.50 in 14 days. No bank savings account can even come close to that.

In the end...it's whatever I need to tell myself to make myself feel better about spending all insane amounts of $$$ ...completing the TFC 00-20 in under 30 days hurt the savings account big time....but I do sleep better at night knowing they're all there on the shelf

Where? I want one! I could use a double to sell off in the future.

Take your TF addiction to the next level!!! You should buy two megatrons at that price. Sit on it for 6-8 months, and unload the 2nd one on ebay for more than you paid! When a new TFC reissue comes out, the old one isn't made anymore. With the right timing, you can make some good profits...offset your spending a bit...

That's what I'm doing with my 2nd MISB TFC #10 Soundwave re-issue, 2nd TFC smokescreen re-issue, crap load of Tuesday Morning TRU reissues, and certain alternator doubles. I got a shelf of transformers that are slated for future sale once the market conditions ripen.

Story: I had a MIB TFC 10 soundwave that was in perfect condition. There was nothing wrong with it. It was bugging me that it wasn't MISB, but I got it for $30(?) so I thought I could live with it. Andrew points at my collection and says:

"So, how does it feel to know that your TFC reissue collection is 95% MISB?"

Sold it off for $60 + shipping the next day. Purchased the MISB ones.
