With the early TFCs, if you opened them when they were new, and were careful, you could get the tape off with no tape marks. One of my Jazz's has a completely clean box, even though I opened it. You'd never know. That and an old trick was to steam the box just a bit to make the tape pull off cleanly without ripping the package. You just had to be careful or you'd make the box cardboard wavy.

my $0.02, for PC games, if you want to return them unopened - you have to leave the plastic seal circle intact.. its very easy to steam the sticker off and put it on later.
