most people who enjoyed TF's when they were a kid, and had TF's when they were a kid, DROOL over option A. These are the Transformers Collection series by Takara. These toys are released in a bookstyle for easy viewing and clean displays.

most people who enjoyed TF's when they were a kid, and had TF's when they were a kid ... but are BROKE, choose option B. This is the Toys R Us (TRU) reissue. These aren't as nice as the Takara reissues (option A), but are still Transformers.

most people who aren't a fan of the 1980's Transformers still flock to option C, Transformers Alternators. These Transformers based off of ACTUAL cars. You'll see S2000's, RSX's, Mustangs, Corvettes, and all sorts of real street cars here.

The imported Takara reissues is the most expensive route.

There are 21 figures available to date. These figrues are never one, flat, rate only because some are way more desirable than others.

Did you have any original TF's when you were a kid?

I actually had some way back in the day (I think they were transformers) but they very well could have been cheap knockoffs.. I cant remember exactly and either way they are gone.

Im gonna stop by target, toys'r'us, and the like.. maybe buy some cheap ones.. i will read up on them later tonight.
