Soundblaster was sold for $58 ... now he's $80.
Megatron was sold for $68, now he goes for $120-ish
and good luck finding a Soundwave.

I just suffered at the hands of 00 Prime ... So I know what it's like being on the bad end of the stick.
I remember saying when these started coming out "wow, those are cool I'd love to get those someday" instead of just buying them up. But better late than never I guess. :happysad:

Same thing. I was in my Jr year of college when the Takaras started to flow.

I remember seeing Megatron for $68, I remember seeing prime for $68, I remember seeing Soundwave for $58, I remember seeing Sideswipe for $30

worst memories ever.

When collecting these things, you gotta go for it now. If you want it, it'll only get more expensive, never cheaper. As far as the Takara's go, you're lucky when you get them at MSRP.

now ... go go go go, buy buy buy :crazyr:

If you like TF's, you really can't pass these up.

For a while, you'd see a few variations of a G1 Megatron reissue. eHobby v1, eHobby v2, TFC, etc ... but the last one available was the TFC 06. That was almost 4 years ago.

I like grabbing the reissues knowing that I won't see them again.

if you can wait another 20 years, feel free :crazyr:

But like I said a few pages back, the reissues are totally reasonable when you see what the vintage demanded in 2002.
