collecting is something you do ... I enjoyed the toy growing up, then it just stuck ... now that I'm older, I have something to keep me relaxed away from the office.

Model cars are my other weakness. For a few years I went nuts collecting diecast model race cars, F1, CART, IRL, NASCAR, all in 1:18, 1:24, 1:43, & 1:64 scale. I recently thinned down that collection before we relocated here to Michigan because I would have needed a seperate moving truck just for my cars. I have about 10 or so plastic model kits that I bought with the intent to build but I've just never had the time.

Collecting the G1 Transformers I guess helps me relive my childhood since they were the toys I played with as a kid. Plus it's been cool to finally get the ones I wanted but never had when I was a kid. Hopefully my kids will dig them when they get older so I have someone to pass them along to.
