It's actually when you do something so great and awesome, you're given one.

Reno purchased all the G1 reissued Transformers in one shot.
Eggy did the same thing, and then some in one week.
Suba paced me for the longest, but didn't post.

Nevets, Jae, Hammy, and myself are OGTF. :run:

Monk is the OG's OG. :boink:

like an original G1 in box? MISB (mint in sealed box)? MIB (mint in box)?

what's your budget?
which figure were you looking for?

Hasbro (USA) and Takara (Japan) have been reissuing toys for the past 4 years. Chances are, what you're looking for is out there.

Optimus Prime is the most reissued toy out of the entire line. Most variations are made of the same stuff as the original.

I'll make you a list, brb.

He's right. Just get the reissues and save. If you're really itching to burn through your money, skip g1 and go straight to diaclones.

the only thing about the U.S. reissue prime is the short stacks. other than that, it's basically the same, metal and all.

The very first of the Optimus Prime reissues was the 2001 Takara "Convoy" (japan's name for Prime)

This is a dead on reissue of the 1985 version.

After the popularity of 2001 version, Takara made a 2002 version called "New Year's Convoy"

This version is "anime accurate" matching the cartoon with blue eyes and blue windows. There are extras in the box including a matrix, action master convoy, and a mouse pad.

In 2002, Hasbro brought reissued Transformers to the US. Toys R Us saw this version:

due to safty regulations, smoke stacks needed to be cut down and missile length increased. Castrated Optimus Prime is G1 accurate otherwise.

2003 brought the Transformers Collection (aka TFC) #00 Convoy.

Seen as the best of the Convoy reissues, this one has an energon axe and is in a nice box display.
