3dMark05
I just bought a new laptop and the company benchmarked my graphics card and PC.
Here's the results before they shipped. How does this compare? I'm not really sure what the score means because I looked online and the newest gen gfx are like 5000+. I'm having trouble finding laptops that have a similar score. Is mine a piece of shit?
nVidia GeForce 6600 Go PCI Express x16 Graphics with 128MB of DDR2 Memory
3dMark05 score: 1693
PCMark05 score: 2587

Better test is to open up a game and start playing. If it's choppy, then it's too slow.
Those fake test "scores" and just selling points.
edit: another thing to take into consideration, yours is just a plain 6600. They are well over 7000 now. PLUS it's the laptopy "GO" version which is going to be a cut down low power version of the 6600 also.
Don't compare laptop parts to desktop parts, the laptop will always loose on speed.
