Default great...add 2 new tires to my neverending list of things to buy

got home from pittsburgh like 2:30am last night. wake up today, walk out to get the paper and there i see the MR2 sinking in the rear - passenger rear to be exact. that quadrant tire is flat with a slit (caused by the factory camber), so it cannot be repaired but replaced.

so now i need to find 2 tires with grip but enough treadlife so i'm not replacing in 6K miles. oh, and something good in rain.

What kind of tires are on the front? You don't want to have too much of a performance mismatch from front to rear.

Just rotate them after you get new tires and you'll be fine.

The MR2 turbo has different size tires in front and back.

Good to know...nevermind then. I'd just get the same tire, should last a while.
