Could it be true that your parents are right most of the time?
I have fought my dad tooth and nail on a certain subject thinking he was wrong but the more and more I think about things the man is actually right. Sometimes it just takes a while to see their point of view I guess but it's pretty freaky, especially since I thought he was dead wrong.

Actually there is a good chance that just about anyone you argue with could be right.
However parents, usually, have been down the same road your on and honestly just want you to be able to see things the way they do, instead of watching you struggle.

Depends on you define right. Your post makes it seem like an opinion issue, where "rightness" is a little vague.
On factual issues I think older people (35+) are more likely to rely on what they "know is right" in argument than actually finding the facts.
