me need computer help v. ultra dma mode
so i guess my dma mode converted back to PIO. from reading errors on my dvd burner.
me want to go back to ultra dma
facts:
1) i do not know if i should have a secondary ide channel. so far it only shows primary
2) notice ultra dma mode is 2 and not 5
what i tried:
1) putting both to PIO and rebooting. then trying dma if available, then rebooting. didnt work, went back to same thing as before
2) uninstalled primary ide, rebooted, and let it detect again. didnt work, went back to same thing as before
3) tried regedit tutorial online here
still no work
this is getting frustrating.
