Default Hip Hop heads

I know there's a few of you here. If you want a good album, check out Sway and King Tech's "Back 2 Basics" Album is off the hook, it's filled from beginning to end with what the game's been missing, lyricism as opposed to the "im the hardest on the planet, have the most girls and material things" type rap that's rampant in today's hip hop.

Yeah. Him and his DJ, King Tech, are veterans in hip hop. They had a show that started in the Bay Area in 1991 on 106.1 KMEL, then grew to syndication nationwide, called "The Wake Up Show". That show birthed many a career as it gave up and coming artists a platform to be heard far and wide. That, coupled with the credibility of Sway and Tech, has been able to put alot of guys on the map, and blew Sway and Tech up in the process nationwide.

I'm sure a lot of people have heard of "Wake Up Show Freestyles" from big names like B.I.G., etc.

Line from "Real Hip Hop"

"Nat tried to give me some advice about my flow, he gave me the ultimate respect and didn't even know. He said, stop writing your battle rhymes and freestyle more, I just smiled and thought "now that's what I freestyle for."

I didn't know they came out with another cd. I was listening to their cd that came out in 99 (forgot the name) the other day. 'The Anthem' > *
