She was surfing the web, and saw that Hoobastank was headed to a local Fair that night, so of course I got dragged along to see it h:

$10 for parking
$7 for entrance into the fair (Someone gave us a free ticket! Shoulda been $14 for both )

Got there a half-hour early and managed to get floor spots as well. Not my normal music, but she was happy, and afterwards got to say Hi to the band. She was giggling about it for hours...

you know what pisses me off is that hoobastank is marked for being produced but the truth about them is they are all self made artists. the started from having nothing, no one told them how to write their music. they get much respect from me. they also have a really high energy live show.

I used to be (or am?) a fairly accomplished Jazz and classical musician, but unfortunately, those musics do not attract the same type of girls as Hoobastank... The Hoobastank girl's mothers are the ones that went to my concerts :happysad:

Yeah, they were fun. I just got tired of the packs of 14 year old girls and a freakin mosh pit got started... to Hoobastank?!?! Lame h:
