Well, I don't want something really crazy or new. In fact I was looking at used ones. All I'm going to really use it for is just surfing the web and chatting, and using it with the AEM EMS that is going into my supra.

A few things I would like on it are

1.4GHZ processor
512MB RAM
40GB HD
DVD
wireless


Those are just the very basic criteria of what I want. Obviously if I could get something better I would do that, but I don't wanna spend a ton of money..........new or used what would you guys suggest?

 

Dell was running 40% off of Inspirons $999 and up last week. Your best bet is to hit up an Office Depot. They're clearing out 2004 laptops for $550 to $700.

Are you sure you want to go with an AEM even with Brad having the problems with his? Or is that some other issue on the car not having to do with just the AEM?

 

Either AEM or HKS V-con pro..........and Brad's AEM problem was due to improper wiring

I think I got a lap top...........Dell D600.........pretty much what I wanted and if it checks out, it will be a good deal. I am going to get it on Saturday I think
