Default CRT choices

So my CRT is going out and I need a new one.

What I need is a good size, fair priced monitor mainly for graphics work. I only want a CRT and will not consider any LCD under any circumstances.

So what are some good ones and links to any kickass pricing deals going on.

Philips 107T. 17" monitor, by far the sharpest monitor I have ever seen in my life.

My best experiances have been with Viewsonic. Either their Graphics Series or Professional Series.

Lots of CAD/Drafting and 3D design people that I went to school with and in the marketing dept where they create graphics a lot use viewsonics.

I have a dual monitor setup w/ CRTs. One is a DIGITAL 21" that i loved, but its getting old now and the other is a 17 inch. I can't work on smaller than 21" now. its amazing.

Trust me, it won't compare to this. The dot pitch on the Philips is .21mm.

:werd: so far your suggestion is in the lead.

LCD gives inconsistent color at its best, needs constant calibration, subject to light washout, changes image quality according to angle of view.......

It would be nice if they were consistent at all angles and the calibration was consistent but for image editing they just aren't at that level where I would bother buying one right now.
