Default D: drive isn't reading/showing up

Already checked the connections.

For some reason my cd/dvd drive isn't reading anything, nor is it showing in my computer.

Help :happysad:

do this. try connecting the drive to the other IDE port on the MB. if that doesn't work try swapping the IDE cable.

Also make sure the drive is getting power and even if it is, swap the power plug with another one that you know works.

If all of the above fails, try another cd-rom or try your cd-rom in another system. But at this point you can spend $30 for a new DVD drive.

Welp I can't find another IDE cable, but I know I have one lying around.

The only IDE ports on the mobo is that one and the one for the HDDs.
