Home office crew
I am in the beginning phase of setting up my home office. Basically it will be a glorified computer room, but will double as my office. I was wondering who else has a room dedicated to office space and trying to get ideas for paint and general setup others have in theirs.

my place is a mess!
However I do have one thing that I really really like. I have an 8'x4'x2" counter top with 6 legs as my desk. I house 2 17" and 1 19" monitors on it along with 2 keyboards and 2 ratpadz GS's for the mice to play on.
For me, this is just about the best computer desk I could ask for. Most people would only have one monitor, leaving lots of work space to work, papers and of course in your case, display some of your work maybe.
And at about $50 total in parts, it's very reasonable.

K good. Well I don't have much advice aside from remove everything non-essential from the room, have a seating area that isn't at the computer, and personally I would paint the room a solid, semi-bold to bold color.
Paint it bright white, with B&W photos of your favorite shots in black frames matted gallery mount.
The reason I say bright white is lighting, sucks with dark colors. I painted my moms bathroom a very light green and it looks less bright.
I think flooring makes the biggest differnce, I loved my hardwood floors it was easy to roll my chair and no dust issues, carpet no matter how much you vacuum is always shedding fiber.

I have one. I have 2 large desks with 2 chairs. Some artwork (poster of a car) and a large display case from IKEA.
I painted mine orange because I wanted it the room to feel bright and sunny.
