Default so i install my ram
1 gig.. for my 12in PowerBook G4.
it came with 256. and umm now its hella fast..
booted like.. 4 times faster
best mod ever!

I need to get a 1GB module for my Dell D610.
the 512mb is fine but I find myself using photoshop, excel, word, and friggin Lotus Notes databases all at the same time.

I'm going to expense it :chuckles:


and yeah well durr 256mb...

i remember when i used to tell people i had 256 and their jaws dropped... 7 years later it's increased 4 fold and i'm finding it hard to play catch up

I was running 256 back in 1996.
