Default What laundry detergent?

What laundry detergent do you all use?

I seem to be noticing my dark clothes keep fading after each wash, which I know is pretty normal, but I think my detergent has something to do with it as well. Also, does washing your color clothes in hot water make a difference?

follow the garment manufacturer's recommended care instructions.

usually it's not the detergent, but the water. we have really hard water here so it wreaks havoc on dark colors. it's so hard in fact, showers feel like it's raining nickels on me.

coldwater tide fresh scent liquid.. yes clothing can fade with washing, especially if its cotton and darks can fade more noticeably. hot water can remove the color and shrink the material especially if its cotton.. the dryer can shrink them too..

All scent-free, hypo-allergenic, cold water wash.

i use tide.

hot water on the first wash sets dye but may also shrink your clothes.

best way to preserve darks, while expensive, is dry cleaning them...

btw, im borderline obsessive with the way i care for my clothes :uhhok:
