Default any benefits to have a landline phone?
so for my new apt i'll be paying electric and internet. now i already setup my electricity account online (things i love about the internet :thumbup: ) and already setup my Adelphia high-speed internet account (also having a special for new customers - 24.95 for 6-months instead of 42.20/mo).

i was thinking about getting a landline telephone hook-up for my place. i have a cellphone but i was just wondering if there is any benefit or something to a landline phone.

btw...if i do get a landline phone, it's going to be Vonage.

why pay for cell and landline...i need the cell phone so i got rid of my landline last year and has saved well me over $500 so far
