When I first joined HAN I was a hardcore smoker, I was really bad.
Even then however, I wouldn't have been stupid enough to get near my car keys.
Even if it doesn't feel like it, or you are completely fine, ONE toke WILL change your perception. If one toke didn't do anything, then why did you do it in the first place?
And secondly this isn't an arguement, for this to be an arguement you have to have some basis of being right. What you did was wrong, even you know that. In no moral, legal, or any other possible way can you explain to me why getting a hit then driving is positive.
Did it ever occur to you that it's the principle of the matter, not just how high you were or weren't off of "one toke" that you "don't smoke anymore?"
You're smoking an illegal drug, getting into a vehicle and illegally driving it down the road putting yourself and others at risk. Whether or not you deem yourself to be impaired or even altered does not matter, the fact is there is an affect after "one toke," perhaps it's not noticeable to you because you're a fucking pot head who smokes three bowls a day, but it's still more than you should have in your system when you're out driving around and putting other peoples lives at risk.
Did the fact that it's illegal ever come into your thought process either? Obviously not.

The only part of this conversation that is frustrating to me is the fact that he still thinks this is about him. The part he fails to figure out is the reason i'm upset is the fact that even if he doesn't "feel" the one toke, the family he hits head on and kills will feel it.
not that i want to get into this little argument.. but..
i agree that it probably does change your perception, but to some it is so small, that it is impossible to even notice.
taking one hit off of a blunt wont do a damn thing to me.
i mean, if someone is smoking a ciggarette for the first time while driving, they could get a huge buzz.. id say thats more dangerous that smoking weed
