How about people taking responsibility. If your man enough to make a baby, you should be man enough to take care of it. Same with women. If you risk it, you should raise it. If you dont want to risk it, then dont have sex. How can it be the womans decision only..!?! How about ask the boyfriend, or husband, or whatever.. It takes two to make a baby last time i checked. Rape is another thing, thats a bit iffy... Im not sure where I stand on that one.

 

I am Pro-Choice, however I don't feel that women should have abortions as a form of birth control which I have seen way to many times! Like said in earlier posts women who are raped and get pregnant should not be forced to have the kid. That would just make the life of the kid and the women a living hell, especially if she was raped by a family member! I knew this girl when I was in High School and she was raped and got pregnant, her parents were so pro-life they made her have the kid. It was so hard for her to love this child eventhough it was not the kids fault! She would sit there in school and cry almost everyday about that by having this child she is reminded day in and day out about what happened. It is really hard to say you are Pro-Life until you are faced with the situation. I also don't feel that I should have any say in what another women does with her life so that is why I am Pro-Choice. But I also feel that if you are not responsible enough to handle the consequences of what could happen, then you shouldn't be having sex. Just think before you act.

 

two words,,,,,,1. **** 2. abortion..... how can they get away with that **** cause what if you kill a woman whose pregnant???? how many charges do you get?? two....so what you need a diploma to murder people now?

 

I am against abortion...but I am pro choice. My reason being is that if someone wants an abortion bad enough they will get one and there is always going to be someone willing to perform it...no matter how safe/unsafe. Abortions need to be regulated like all other medical procedures and to do this they need to be legal. However I would invest a lot of money into adoption agencies to give women a good alternative to abortions.

 

having a abortion doesn't make you un pregnant, it makes you the parent of a murdered child.........this saying tripped me out..don't ya think.

I think we, as Americans need to stop depending on the government to make our moral and ethical choices for us. And preferably, also stop telling the government to force our choices on others.


I'm against abortion.

However, I am pro choice. Why? Because I have the decency and open mindedness required to see and understand that not everyone shares my beliefs and moral views, and I believe that this is a personal choice.

 

I agree, they should have the choice........but all you pro-choice people seem to forget that ADOPTION is a choice......the best choice......adoption is why I am a healthy, happy, productive member of society, and not a dead fetus.........

ADOPTION ADOPTION ADOPTION!!!!!!!! there's other ways of not having to deal with a baby than abortion...........abortion is ending a life.......maybe the life that cures AIDS, cancer, brings peace......who knows?

It's not the fact that it's legal, I understand that making it illegal would create some VERY disgusting illegal abortions.....but it's the fact that everyone seems to forget that the adoption option exists......it's a win-win situation.........a loving family that can't have kids for some reason gets to raise a child that they want so badly, and the birthmother and father don't have to deal with their mistake.......so tell me how ANYONE could choose abortion before adoption?!!?

 

I'm pro-life except in instances where the girl got raped, and then only in the first month. Afterwards, theres no doubt that is murder and should be punished as such.

 

I used to believe that abortion was one topic where both sides were dead wrong. And then the "pro-life" side started murdering the other side.

I'm adopted, so I'm supposed to be against abortion. But I believe that God is all-powerful, and that people aren't, so we shouldn't go around trying to second-guess God. The bottom line is that choice is what makes life wonderful. If we have choice taken away from us, there's no reason to live.

 

I have a big issue with abortion being used as a form of birth control. Adoption is really the best way to go.
