out of all those pictures only one car?
Does everyone ride around in bicycles?

Well to be fair the night pics were not on State Street. Thge first two are on the capital square (you can see the capital reflecting in the building in the second shot) and the others are on University Ave and Johnson St. They're all places that allow cars. But since I took the pics somewhere from like 2 to 3 am after edna made that post about it being too old school, there weren't exactly a lot of cars around. That, and the shots for the most part do not have the street level in them so you wouldn't see cars if they were there anyway.

But yeah, State St, the first set of pics, there are no cars other than the vehicles a I already mentioned.

They can get bad but usually they're nothing like what the Boston area got this past winter (I have some family there). It gets cold as balls, like down around zero, and it can snow a fair bit. Walking from my apartment to class was not a lot of fun.

Now I get to work with a car and drive from the parking garage in my apartment to the parking garage at my office. So aside from the fact that I drive a Miata and will most definitely need snow tires to get to work in the winter, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
