Well long story short, I have a hospital bill that I've been dealing with for months. I recieved it again last week, so mom tells me to call the insurance company to see why they haven't paid it.

Ah, well they did, see. Except they sent the check to my parents. Someone cashed it and didn't pay attention to what it was for (this was in February). So I call her up, of course I'm pissed, but I don't yell or anything. They're in Rhode Island staying at a friends, but considering I had talked to her ten minutes before I figured she'd be available. She tells me that I'm being very rude since they're at a friends, but if they were doing something important she shouldn't have picked up. And its not like they can hear me talking to her. I swear, the woman thinks I'm psychic (I constantly get yelled at for calling when she's on the phone, like I know).

Then I try to pay with my CC, but they don't take payments over the phone. Which means I'll be harassing my mother for another two weeks for her to write out a check. Grr.

So someone from your family cashed and kept a check that was suppose to be used to pay your hospital bills. Sheesh thats harsh.

My mom says it wasn't her, but I know she is always stealing Dan's checks for medical reimbursements for herself. Oh well, she gets to pay it now. But she'll probably lay the blame on him, so he will pay, which will also irritate him with me since he also just paid my tuition bill.

Sell their car while they're away visiting friends. Then when they ask about it say "oops, I didn't realize it was yours."

Thats why I have been financially independant since I was like 17 from my family.

The only thing we used to argue about was money... so I fixed that.
