We used to have parakeets a long time ago. Actually, the last one we had flew out the door and was never seen again. It was freezing when it happened, so i'm sure it died soon after. It makes me curious if the one i just saw will survive outdoors or not. We've got bird feeders with seed in our back yard. I'm thinking it will probably survive until the weather gets cooler, then it'll probably die, but who knows. Does anybody know if these birds will survive outdoors if they escape the owner?
