DAMN THOSE LITTLE KIDS ARE SOOO ANNOYING.
i was at a stop light the other day and this kid just revs his fucking engine like i'm even looking at him. my friend was like, "i think he wants to race you." so i'm like ok...and then the light goes green, i rev the engine and just stop to watch his dumbass go. i wonder how smart he felt after he realized i wasn't even going to bother with his ricing ass. GAWDDAMN.

anyways, w/e. in any sport, in any hobby, in any past time. you'll always have dedicated people who do it for the right reasons. and you'll have 15 year old babies doing it cuz it's "kewl and dey sawe id en sum mooviey und dat mooviey wuz smoooken yo!"

whats great are the people with a 92 civic dx who read in the magazine ads that a CAI adds UP TO 15 HP in some applications, a header adds UP TO 10 HP in some aplications, an exhaust ads UP TO 17 HP in some applications, and that some wicked all-motor racecar made 250whp with a 75mm throttle body.

So they throw all those parts on their car and think they now drive a 180hp DX. :chuckles: Its amazing that people can still think that even with all of us out there calling them idiots.

Same story for me, i spent 7 thousand in the first year of owning my DSM, don't get me wrong it was fast but just not reliable at all.

My honda is not fast, not even close. But now i can go out on the weekends again becuase i'm not fixing my car constantly.

same story here, only instead of a DSM it was a mkiii supra. After two blown headgaskets, I decided it wasn't worth it anymore. Plus, insurance was INSANE on that car. My civic was litterally 1/3 the cost to insure.

I got into Hondas back the early 80's when the Prelude was a smart car and the Accord still came in a hatchback, so pretty much nobody can say they've been doing it longer than I have. Unless they're old as fvck and owned one of the fist Civics or something. I've never been a ricer and never will be, so I don't claim to know a lot about upgrades and there are definetely people who know a shitload more about the engines and suspension than I do. So... it damn sure aint no new thing to me.

Cliffnotes: I like Hondas pretty well.
