Drive down to Pacific Beach aka PB, there's tons of bars down there and a few clubs. It's pretty chill down there. If you're in o'side, then it's about 25min drive south from you.

LA has everything you want, i.e. stars, homos, homeless, thugs, preps, etc. So, just go to hollywood and have fun!
