Why wouldn't it have VTEC? It'll probably have i-VTEC like all the newer K-series. This thing is going to be such a sweet car. :drool:
V8 too though? Be nice if Honda did a full size truck to compete with the big 3 if the Ridgeline takes off well or some sort of nasty FR Mustang killer, but I seriously doubt that.

because a bigger truck and a FR mustang killer all scream economy and preserving the world one car at a time
h: (not that a V10 does.. but I am a better itll be a V10 under 4.5L :reechy: . )and I see no reason why the new engine wouldn't have some form of variability--seeing as how if it didnt Honda would be working in reverse.
