I did my tires too. They're peerrrrrty. I decided to skip the polish.. cause I was testing out a new wax.. wanted to see how it did. Took about two hours. Second car I did with a claybar this week. I did my friends Jeep on Tuesday.. then we swapped out her roof for the safari top.

Nice

I had sap and tar junk all over my car...they made us park under trees at work.

She looks nice now though...I'll have to put some pics up.

Which clay bar did you like/how did you like it? I'm typically a claymagic person but I'm fixing to try the meguiars quick clay.

The only thing I'm still haveing trouble with, is the marks from where I took off the pin striping on the front fenders. The doors and back came off no problem.. but up there, they left residue. I've used goo gone..worked a little... the claybar worked a little bit more..but that was with some major elbow grease. My arms were tired by that point. I have a feeling it may take one or two more tries with something to fully remove it.

Any suggestions?

Try some medium cut cleaner...should get rid of it. I'd think a good polish combined with a buffer would do the trick.

How the hell did you detail your car in today's weather? It literally sucked balls! Humid, hot and I stay inside
