Camping trip gone bad.
Well las weekend from the 15th to the 17th me and a bunch of friends went to Saco River to go on a 22 miles canoe trip, where we found our own places to camp both nights. Well it was very fun considering some, just SOME
alcoholic beverages were involved.
Anyways, the second day of camp we couldn't find anywhere to stay to camp, so we ended up finding this horrible place that made us set up tents on a 25 degree angle. Not to mention that poison ivy plants were everywhere. Well I've never been very allergic to poison ivy, I could touch it briefly and nothing would happen, but what happened to me that night made the contact with the plant a little more than brief. That night I passed out around 12am because drunk0rz got the best of me. I waddled my way into the tent and just passed out. I woke up the next morning to see that a poison ivy plant had popped through the bottom of the tent... I had been rolling in it ALL NIGHT.
Now I sit here today, in excrutiating pain not working for the rest of the week because I cannot bend my left leg since the rash is bad on the back of my knee. I have HUGE purple welts all along my legs and blisters everywhere. I'm pretty sure it covers over 30% of my body. I went to the doc's on tuesday when it first started getting bad and they couldn't do anything... so I went along with my days and yesterday it just got so worse I had to leave work. Now I am taking Predisone for 5 days and hopefully it will be gone in a week.
Oh and I bought this Zenfel stuff that costs 40 bucks that everyone says works... Yea, it did NOTHING... It actually got worse after I put it on...
No pics, i doubt you want to lose your lunch.. Ok, thats the end if my rant
