What's wrong with a convertible where it snows? There are nice days in the winter where the temp is above 40 degrees and it's sunny. You afraid of a little chill in the air? I sure see a lot of men driving convertibles for them being a girl car. :fawk:

If I had a choice between a vert and somethin with T-tops I'd have to go with the T's, but honestly I like riding in a convertible. Sure they're heavier than thier solid topped siblings and less rigid and more costly in a lot of ways....

Ah, fvck it. This is off topic anyway....

well its semi hypothetical, its for my pops. He doesnt like his E class so he is prob gonna sell it/trade it in...my mother doesnt want another RWD car cause she afraid of snow or something. The reason he would get the A6 as opposed to the A8 is whether or not he sees the value in spending the extra money for the A8...he likes the fact that the A6 has the same motor, etc etc....I am pushing for either the S4 or the A8

ah ok. Well is your dad a sporty type person? If so then S4. Also how many people does he drive around? Does he a have a job where he drives around a lot of clients? If so then I'd say the A8 would be best. If he just wants to get from A to B in comfort then I'd say the A6 is the car for him.

exactly. The only convertables that I can see as being deemed girl cars are the VW Cabriolet, Cavalier Convertible, Geo Metro Convertible :reechy: and depending on who you ask the Miata. No way are all convertible's chick cars.
