Perhaps they put that big wing on in the interest of safety. The higher the wing, the more visibility you have. h:

maybe the spoiler is part of the body and the trunk can open UNDER it :dunno:

some dude over here has a geo metro with a wooden spoiler. looks straigh tout of shop class
