It has the 4A-F, it's like the 4A-GE's retarded little brother. :chuckles:

This one is automatic and since most of my commute is done in stop and go traffic, it will definitely be helpful.

That would be nice but I'm sure the cost wouldn't justify its purpose of use. I'll only be using this car for work or errands. Doesn't need to be new or look good, just reliable.

True Story. I just hope age doesn't play a factor on its reliability. The mileage is very low yes, but it's just a few years away from being a 20 year old vehicle.

these imports last forever and ever. i saw a 92 civic in the classifieds, it had like almost 300k miles. man, me n my friends should pick up a beater and do all kinds of stupid sheet in it.
**UPDATE**
I didn't buy it.
All I can say is wow. 1st off, before I left work I was researching the 88 Corolla and Google Images showed me the exact same picture of a White 4dr 88 Corolla that he posted. I didn't think a whole lot of it so I went to look at this on my way home.
I pulled up and was like "oh hell no".
The front bumper and 1/4 hood were painted black, black wing, and 1/4 of rear trunk and down were painted black. There was a huge dent with rust exposed on the driver side and both rear wheel wells were covered in rust. The guy came out and attempted to start it, that was a good 30 seconds. Here's more.
-Throttle Body stays open at about 4k rpm when starting up until you tap the gas, it goes down to normal warming up RPM's
-I nearly ran thru the stop sign because the brakes were shot (where the f*** were the new brakes!)
-very bad exhaust leak
-Car is from NJ and he's had it in VA for a year never registered and no current inspections
-Burning insanely amounts of oil
I felt kinda bad because I was getting this guy to hold the car for me since there were so many people interested on the local forum so I continued with a test drive since he offered. He wanted me to take it out on the highway but I told him the side streets were good enough since it wasn't registered. After a few min of driving I headed back, parked it, and told him I'd pass since I needed something more reliable.
