Look for a powdercoating shop.

if i get them powder coated, do i need to get a clear coat? and if i do, will that make it so i dont need to take them off during the winter?

does anyone know any reputable powdercoating shops in central ohio?

If you get a powdercoat job, you won't need a clearcoat. Powdercoat is much stronger than paint.

Well if I lived in a place where it snowed during the winter, I'd probably take them off and put stockers on with snow tires....and have summer tires that grip on my good rims.

Personally I wouldn't waste the money on powdercoating slip streams. I looked into getting the spokes on my 17's powdercoated and they wanted about 300 bucks for all 4. Screw that. That's half the price of the wheels.

getting rims powdercoated can be pretty pricey, i would suggest painting them yourself because there are a couple of DIY on painting your own rims with good results. my friend painted the stock rims on his evo black with a red lip and they came out pretty nice.

and heres a DIY with the basic tools and steps:

I probably wouldn't try and spraypaint an expensive rim though...I'd rather pay the $50/rim.
