this weekend I get to replace the timing belt and water pump on the scooby :happysad: I am bored...sorry...just thought I would throw it out there.

timing belts and water pumps really don't do anything ... it's like getting the undercoat protection from the dealer. All so pointless, ya know?

Werd, my timing belt has never done anything for me. Lazy good for nothing free-loader.

except for when they snap, cause then your drivetrain has to run on your hopes and dreams...its hard to keep up

they don't snap ... all a marketing ploy. We all know that these cars today are nothing like the ones we grew up riding in. Technology has come a long way.

Mine didn't snap, it jumped teefs. Like, it went from having nice teefs to having JDM teefs. Looked like this --> :exnbp:

Be sure to get your headlight and brakelight fluid inspected. You can never be too safe.
