Default LCD squad - questions

i picked up a viewsonic VA912B last week (specs here) . the place i bought it from mistakenly listed the response time as 8ms, when it's actually 20ms. it does support DVI and the contrast ratio is nice (800:1).

on the flip side, there are other 19" in this price range (~$300) that offer faster reponse times, but they have lower contrast ratios and are analog only.

since i dont play games...should i just keep it?

anything under a response time of ~25ms isn't noticable, even when gaming.

Yeah, as long as it looks good to you, just keep it. Response time is really only important for games, and even at 20ms response times most people won't notice ghosting or any other problems while gaming.
