Battlefield 2
At the present time, I can't even play this damn game. But I just sold my video camera, so now I'm halfway to buying my new video card. I'm gonna get a 6600GT, I think. Those things are mad fast, most people writing reviews say it's faster than a 9800pro on their machines.
But I'll have to do a little more research to be on the safe side.

i think ill go cheap with a nice mobo combo.
Yeah, if the card performs the same as any other card of the same type that's a whole lot more, I'll just go with the cheaper one. Usually the higher prices are just for name brand/software bundles anyway. Even if this card is only 128-bit, it still seems to get higher marks than the 9800pro, and it'll last me until my next MB/CPU upgrade anyway. I'm just so goddamn sick of this POS Geforce4 64mb card.
my 9500 pro runs this game perfectly fine.
aside from the garbage menu system, and other glaring problems that should never be, the game itself is pretty damn fun.
i managed to get a server up and running without having to open thousands of ports on the firewall (like EA suggests
), and played the demo again last night with a friend. i may decide to pick up the retail version.
