Well I bought it from my parents so for them to do an oil change is next to impossible.
I dropped about $350 doing a front and rear brake job (pads, rotors, shoes, spring kit), oil change, drain cock, coolent flush and fill, tranny filter and new fluid.
I now have to do front stab. link kits, rear sway bar bushings, rear shocks, front axle u-joints and a valve cover gasket...gonna run $250 for that.
The rims and tires on it I got from my cousin for $250, 30x9.50R15s. 100x better then the 235/70R15s they replaced.

So total is $850 to get it all repaired which really isn't all that bad for a 11 year old SUV that my parents never really looked after.

Let me clear up that my parents didn't give me this thing, no no.

I paid them $4000 for it plus I have to do $850 in repairs and get it all licensed in my name and crap. So it's more like $5100 total.

Keep some money saved, as GC's are always having problems. (hopefully yours will be an exception)

That's still not that bad of a price.
