I think I'm going to have to get my rotors turned and have new pads put on...I'd do it myself, but brakes aren't something I want to experiment with...not being able to slow down is scary.

resurfacing = turning right?

Brake pads replacement wouldn't be a big deal, but while I'm getting the resurfacing done I might as well just have them bleed the lines and replace the pads.

brakes are super-easy. And honestly, rotor turning has always seemed like a load of bull to me. If your rotors are warped/out of spec, it should be obvious by the vibration. And if they are, brand new rotors cost the same as paying some guy to take your rotors off, run them through a machine and put them back on.

and as Samson mentioned, valve adjustment is part of your tune-up.

might wanna check for leaks around your water pump and depending on how many miles replace, check hoses and rest of the belts, rotate tires/check air pressure, pcv valve, engine idle, while doing a tuneup never overlook general maintenance items

add oxygen sensors to the list, always buy new rotors too

TB cleaned, engine decarbonized? Never heard of those.

cap/rotor like suggested, and i wouldn't suggest tranny fluid unless it is badly discolored or smells burnt, imo. :happysad:

actually, if you take the rotors out and give it to a guy to machine, it is only around 10 bucks a rotor....so 20 for the front def. beats 50 for some blanks.

but of course, you have down time and one would need a ride to the machine shop.
