This was one of the 260's from the Dyno event I attended last Saturday. I got there before he ran on the dyno but supposedly he put out about 260hp and it wasn't even tuned correctly. He was having problems with his jets. His buddy in Japan is a Nissan mechanic and built this JDM crate motor for him and shipped it over. Once he got it in the car, he flew his friend over from Japan just to tune it.

I used to own a 280ZX til I sold it to a buddy of mine. I love the body styles of the 260's and 280's...The Fairlady-style side mirrors are a nice touch. :goodjob:

I don't know a lot about old Zs... how many liters in that engine? 2.6?

Those ITBs are very pretty.

 

Engine is sick, I don't like what he did with the exterior at all though.

 

I don't know anything about that motor either. But yes the ITB's are sexy.
