OMG! im still playin around with this. it bring back memories lookin at my old houses and schools. time does go by fast.
Also, anyone able to find the statue if liberty? i cant locate it.

Our images are photographs taken by satellites and aircraft sometime in the last three years. The images in Google Earth are updated on a rolling basis.

looks to me that it renders only the more populated areas. there's a "buildings" checkbox, if i remember correctly, that does that for you.

it should all be 3d sooner or later, thats why it is beta still and will be for a while
