Naw I know what you're saying, and I agree. I think the Blazers and the Jazz are SOL for next season.

Which boggles my mind because the Jazz have players that can play and also be able to build a team around. But we can't find the right formula with our guy's. Although I don't know what Portland has to work with? :dunno: I hate the rebuilding stage! We had it so good for so long. h:

Darius Miles and Zach Randolph both have potential to be a good support for a star...Other players are on the down and out IMO: Sharif Abdul-Rahim, Damon Stoudamire, Derek Anderson, Nick Van Exel. They aren't getting any younger in an increasingly younger league.

I have alway's liked Darius Miles. Why hasn't he been able to step it up to the next level?

Ehh, my theory is that its playing time. He hasn't averaged over 27 minutes a season since he's reached Portland, or over 30 in his career. That and I think he still needs to bulk up/fill out. If he could become a consistant starter w/ an average of 35-40 minutes a game, you'd be hearing his name a lot more.

On a side note- On the second to last game of the season, they decide to feed him, and he got a career high 47 points. He definitely has potential...it'd be just like the Blazers to waste it away though.

You're right, if he isn't getting any playing time then he isn't going to play at his full potential. Looks like Portland got to see a taste of what he can do from that one game. It will be interesting to see if the go back to him this upcoming year.

Although for the Jazz, if you aren't one of the rotating 8 for Jerry Sloan then you won't see nothing but the bench. Which pisses me off, because we have guy's that can play. :dunno:
