So my mom is on her way home from Canada today...well supposed to be anyways. She got to Seattle airport and now her flight on Alaska airlines keeps getting delayed after delay after delay. She was supposed to originally leave at 5:55pm and as of right now the plane isn't due to leave until 8:59pm. The flight keeps getting pushed back and as of about 20 mins ago hadn't even gotten to Boise ID yet on it's way to Seattle. Well I guess it's because Alaska airlines and Horizon air have been having labor disputes that have gotten bad int he past week...they've fired 62 pilots in the last week. i guess the pilots are making complaints against the planes so that way the planes get grounded until they are fully checked out...making ALL of the flights get either delayed or cancelled. It's such BS :madfawk:

 

I could have told you that months ago.

Fuck Alaska, their scab labor and shady practices.

I was lucky I guess. Both my flights were on time and no problems.
