Default Photographers lens filter flaw scratch

I found a scratch or a flaw in one of my red 58mm Tiffen filters I have only had it three days I never noticed it before its so small and I cannot even feel it with my finger nail. Should I contact B&H or Tiffen IM not sure if its something I did or? It has not showed up in any of the negatives I processed so far

Probably hit something against it on accident? Sucks to spend another $15-20 on a filter

If it doesn't show up in your images I would just deal with it but contact B&H anyways and tell them you recieved the filter with a scratch, don't mention the questioning of how it got there.

They are really solid about making things right in most cases but it also depends on how long you have had the filter. Having had it only 3 days though they will swap it out no problem is my guess.
