I'm at the library and my parking meter has definitely run out but I don't have any more change. But I really want to get these pics scanned so I've got my fingers crossed that I don't get ticketed/towed.

I just upgraded spamassassin from 3.0.3 to 3.0.4. Edited the conf file to limit the number of spamd child processes. Those fackers take up 25MB ram each! And it's only lil old me using it. Limited httpd to min 2 max 8 child processes. No need to have a bunch of extra processes running when I'm the only one that uses it and even then it's maybe once or twice a week.

apt-get upgrade and Fedora found a new version of HelixPlayer, even though I never use it. I don't care.

I also took apart my Compaq Proliant 800 server and pulled out the hard drive to get the spare part number and model number... those damn older scsi drives are still damn expensive! Even for just a 9.1gb or an 18.2gb drive. It's hard to justify the price when an 18.2gb ultra wide2 scsi drive is going for over $200 yet a SATA or PATA 160GB drive can be had for less than $100.

While I was inside the proliant 800 I got the can of air and paint brush and cleaned it out. Some people are so paranoid about touching a computer while it's running... I get right in there. That's about it right now.

So I'm going to watch some tv.

so my buddy and i were messing around tonight at the fire station, like pushing eachother. Anyway, i slip on some gravel and go down right as he goes to push me and his thumb went a quarter of an inch into my eye. Still seein spots and this was at least an hour ago. :sad: talked to and optometrist and there wont be permanent damage, just some pain :happysad:
